All about Charli's chassis replacement

This page is all about us replacing Charli's chassis. We'd had Charli for a few weeks before some investigation showed that the chassis really wasn't sound. After lots of discussion with other 2CV fans on the Yahoo mail group 2CV-L, and various other investigations, we ordered a galvanised chassis from ECAS 2CV Parts in the UK. Once landed, armed with the Haynes 2CV manual (the HBOL to some) and a really helpful chassis replacement tip sheet from one of the friendly 2CV-L group members, we set to it.
